Shuta Kiba
Shuta Kiba is interested in the intersection between philosophy, poetics, and politics. Kiba’s main focus is British Romanticism, especially William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Kiba’s current research is on the relationship between habit and the Romantic conception of creative imagination, which tries to illuminate how the Romantics both philosophically and poetically “formed” the idea of the modern subject at the liminal space between sovereign politics and biopolitics.
