Based at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, the UW Lab was composed of a talented group of early career scholars dedicated to advancing humanities research. This team played a crucial role in the Report’s success through diligent desk research work, providing comprehensive support in the coordination and communication efforts with various scholarly teams across the globe. Their dedication to the in-depth study and synthesis of complex data has been instrumental in informing and enriching the Report’s content.

The Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes stands firmly committed to fostering and showcasing the fresh perspectives brought forth by up-and-coming humanities scholars. In line with this commitment, the UW Lab, although not associated with a specific world region, was invited to contribute scholarly work in line with the diverse and international nature of the World Humanities Report. The UW Lab’s contributions have been invaluable, bringing important insights into the global humanities discourse. We express our gratitude for their support and their scholarly work. We are delighted to publish the UW Lab’s research, ensuring their scholarly voices is included in the World Humanities Report they helped coordinate.
