Sujatha Subramanian

Sujatha Subramanian is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at the Ohio State University. Her research interests include girlhood and youth studies, juvenile justice, transformative justice, feminist geography, and feminist media studies. Her research has appeared in journals such as Feminist Media Studies, the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion, and Economic and Political Weekly. Subramanian is also a collaborator with Detention Solidarity Network, an online space in which to critically engage with the structures and experiences of detention in India.
