Brahma Prakash

Brahma Prakash is an assistant professor of theater and performance studies at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He is the author of Cultural Labour: Conceptualizing the “Folk Performance” in India (2019) and Body on the Barricades: Life and Art under the Authoritarian Regime in India (forthcoming in 2023). His columns on art and culture occasionally appear in the Wire, Scroll, Outlook, Indian Cultural Forum, and other media platforms.
