Elizabeth Collingwood-Selby

Elizabeth Collingwood-Selby is a professor in the Department of Philosophy at the Metropolitan University of Educational Sciences (Santiago de Chile). She received her PhD in philosophy with a concentration in aesthetics and art theory from the University of Chile. Recently, her research has focused on the relationships between history, imaging technologies, and memory and the relationship between law and violence. Her publications include Walter Benjamin, la Lengua del Exilio (1997), El filo fotográfico de la historia: Walter Benjamin y el olvido de lo inolvidable (2009), and La universidad (im)posible (coedited with Willy Thayer, Mary Luz Estupiñán Serrano, raúl rodríquez freire; 2018).
