Sergio Villalobos-Ruminott

Sergio Villalobos-Ruminott received his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh and is now a professor of Spanish at the University of Michigan. Among his publications are the books Soberanías en suspenso: Imaginación y violencia en América Latina (2013), Heterografías de la violencia: Historia Nihilismo Destrucción (2016), La desarticulación: Epocalidad, hegemonía e historicidad (2019), and Asedios al fascismo: Neliberalismo, revuelta y crisis (2020). He regularly teaches on historico-political, visual, and literary aspects of contemporary Latin American culture.
