Silvia Schwarzböck

Silvia Schwarzböck received her doctorate from the University of Buenos Aires and is now a professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires where she teaches courses on aesthetics. She has published Adorno y lo político (2008), Los espantos: Estética y postdictadura (2016), and Los monstruos más fríos: Estética después del cine (2017) among other books and articles on topics in aesthetics, political philosophy, contemporary philosophy, art, and cinema. She edited the Spanish-language critical edition of Immanuel Kant’s Groundwork for a Metaphysics of Morals (2012) and translated Theodor Adorno’s Aesthetics (2013) into Spanish.
