The Americas part of the Report includes three main research groups: one North American group, who worked in partnership with the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS), and two Latin American groups, one under the leadership of María del Rosario Acosta López, around the theme of memory in Colombia, and the second is a collective of scholars who worked independently, in connection with CHCI.
